Smart bird feeders are very 2020. Smart birdbaths are clearly where it's at. This week at CES 2025, Birdfy is showcasing the Bath Pro, taking cues from products like the Bird Buddy and applying them to a big saucer of water with a solar-powered fountain in the middle.
Two versions of the product will be available when it goes on sale in March: a standalone bath, priced at $250, and a bath with a stand, which bumps the price up another $50.
All told, the product operates similarly to products like Bird Buddy and Birdfy's own smart birdhouse. There are a pair of lenses onboard: one 2-megapixel with 1080p video capture and another 3-megapixel, capable of shooting in 2K video.
The system uses AI-based object detection to spot bathing birds and snaps a photo, which is then accessible via the Birdfy app. The standard AI subscription comes with the bath and is free, though the company charges a monthly premium if you want the thing to actually identify species.
Birdfy also announced the Feeder 2 Duo at CES 2025, a $420 bird feeder offering two different camera angles.
